About me
From early on, I knew I wanted to work with people —
to truly see them, understand them deeply, and accompany them through times of uncertainty, change, and growth.
I’ve always been fascinated by how humans cope with emotional pain, inner conflict, life transitions and cultural adaptation with the big question: What does it need to help a human person further? How is the human brain functioning? My passion for neurobiology and mental health as a young person led me to choose clinical psychology to get an answer on those questions. To me, people are never diagnoses — they are highly complex with their own background and resources which make them unique.

I studied Psychology at Philipps University of Marburg, specializing in clinical psychology and psychotherapy & children and youth psychology. During my studies, I completed internships in psychosomatic medicine and medical psychology, where I saw firsthand how much the mind, body, and environment interact. For my thesis, I co‑developed a digital tool to support students struggling with ADHD and self‑handicapping — a project close to my heart, since supporting international students and young professionals is one of my core passions.

I completed post‑graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at Hannover Medical School and have extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I’ve worked with people facing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and more. Since 2021 I am a licensed psychologist in Germany, holding the German Approbation in my hands which allows me to work in the public health care system in collaboration with private and public
My years at University Medical Center Schleswig‑Holstein (UKSH) in Lübeck, in trauma therapy and psychiatric‑short‑term care, shaped the depth and empathy in my approach.

In 2022, I moved to Copenhagen. The transition — learning a new language, navigating a different healthcare system, cultural adaptation, and temporarily being unable to practice – taught me about vulnerability, identity, resilience, and how important it is to feel seen.

After recognition of my professional credentials, I’m now a licensed psychologist (autoriseret) in Denmark. I offer therapy in German, English — in person in Copenhagen or online.

Today, I work with expats, international students, professionals, and couples who often find themselves between worlds — between languages, cultures, identities, expectations and new beginnings.
My therapeutic style is warm, structured, and evidence‑based: I walk alongside you with presence, respect and the belief that even small changes can lead to meaningful healing.
